Our Church thrives because of the energy and style of the people who are a part of our leadership. Meet the staff and members of Resurrection's Mission Leadership Team:

My wife, Carolyn, and I came to Resurrection in the fall of 2010. We both attended Luther Seminary in St. Paul and have lived in Shoreview since 1987. Our three children are young adults, who move about the country for various jobs and educational opportunities. Though I am an avid runner and cyclist, Carolyn prefers walking and gardening. We both enjoy visiting our siblings who are scattered from Atlanta to Kodiak Island, AK and from The Hague, Netherlands to Austin, TX.

Our family joined Resurrection in 1996, shortly after moving to Woodbury. An English teacher prior to the move, I joined the staff as the Director of Children's Ministries in 1997. My husband Jon and I have three teenagers--Peter is a student at Luther College, and Erika and Jeremy are at Woodbury High School. The energy and warmth of this faith community continue to inspire me and I love the endless flow of ideas that swirl through our church family. Jon plays guitar with the worship team, while I enjoy women's ministry opportunities. As a child, I wanted to read every book in our smalltown library--now I have a small library at home with more books than I can read.
My husband, Jay and daughters, Meghan and Molly, discovered Resurrection in the summer of 1997 and knew we had found a special church home. I have been involved in a variety of ministries over the years but I enjoy children’s ministries the most. I am currently the coordinator for our Sunday School program known as “the dock” and love the energy and enthusiasm of both the children and our volunteer leaders. My favorite thing to do is to travel and I am hoping to have visited all fifty states in the next few years.
Marcia and I were one of the first families involved at the start of this congregation. We met at Carthage College in Kenosha, WI where I received my music degree. After a year of seminary at Luther Theological in St. Paul, I worked for 23 years in the concrete pipe and precast industry. I sing tenor in the National Lutheran Choir and enjoy playing tuba and keyboard. To be a part of an amazing congregation and find myself on staff leading a contemporary music ensemble, doing music I never in my younger years imagined I would enjoy, is a constant source of wonder for me of how the Holy Spirit leads us to places we would never have imagined.

I joined Resurrection Lutheran Church as the 6-12th Youth Director in September of 2011. I am a 2011 graduate from Bethel University and earned a degree in Youth Ministry and received a double minor in Biblical and Theological Studies and Reconciliation Studies. Prior to Resurrection, I served at Living Waters Lutheran Church in Lino Lakes, MN and Christ the King Lutheran Church in New Bighton, MN. At both congregations I served as the Children,Youth and Family Ministry Intern. I spent 3 summers working for Luther Point Bible Camp in Grantsburg, WI. Some of my favorite things are the arts, outdoors, mornings, meaningful conversations, fresh cut flowers, a good cup of coffee, and enjoying a good laugh. Always remember, "This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."
Psalm 111.24
The people at Resurrection are why I love my job. I have been working in the church office since the building opened in 2003. My work is fullfilling, full of variety and challenging. My husband, two children and I have lived in Woodbury since Winter, 1999. We are active members and volunteers at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Woodbury. In my spare time I enjoy reading, gardening, watching my children's sport activities and spending time with my immediate and extended family.
My husband, Tyler, and I started attending Resurrection shortly after we moved to Woodbury in 2004. Tyler is involved with the video team, and I have helped out with various women's and children's ministries, inlcuding Moms LIFE and the annual Women's Retreat. The children's ministries here have been fantastic, and our three children look forward to coming to church each week. I have been a coordinator for Angel Haven since 2006, and absolutely love working with the youngest children in our church. In my free time I enjoy running, gardening, and spending time with family.

My family, husband Bill, and sons Bill (21) and Dan (18), has attended Resurrection since fall of 2001. We were attracted to Resurrection because of the music and the friendliness of the people). Our son Bill recently said, “I love our church—everyone knows you when you walk in the door—and they all seem like part of our family.” I couldn’t have said it better myself! I have been involved in a variety of ministries over the years including the Welcome & Assimilation Ministry (WAM), the Women’s Bible Study, and, Special Connections-- which is a support/advocacy group for parents of kids with special needs and adults with special needs. Spending time with my family, cooking & reading are my favorite past times.

I have been a member of Resurrection since 2003. During that time, I have served on various teams and committees including Leadership Development, PACEr Team (Publicity, Advertising, Communications, and Evangelism) and helped with the annual Variety Show. I am employed by the American Cancer Society in their Planned Giving Department. When not working, I enjoy reading, spending time with friends as well as providing care for my mother who lives in western MN.
My wife Terri, son Austin, daughter Addie and I have been attending Resurrection Lutheran Church since 1998 and are charter members. Over the years, I have participated as a vocalist with the Worship Team 'common ground', been actively involved in junior and senior high youth ministry, and have served on a variety of church teams. The welcoming people, upbeat contemporary music, and dynamic messages drew my family to Resurrection and have kept us engaged for the past 13 years. One of my fondest memories as a member of this church has been singing on the Resurrection float during the Woodbury Days Parade. Seeing people smile, wave, and sing along as we spread the good news of Jesus Christ through music was evidence that God is alive and working in our world today.
I am married to Michael Cammack and have two children, Daniel (18) and Laura (17). We discovered Resurrection in the fall of 2003 by the recommendation of our (then neighbor), Sarah Storvick. The following May, we became members. My hobbies are playing tennis, riding bike, going for walks and just hanging with friends. I love reading and am involved in a neighborhood book club. I also attend two Bible studies each week which adds to my reading! I am thankful to God for this wonderful church family and for the special friends that I’ve made while being here.
